The company "Tatspirtprom" was established in 1997 due to the thought-out and balanced economic policy of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the difficult transition period of social, economic and legal insecurity there established a background for maintenance, development and modernization of production facilities, preservation of workplaces and absolute meeting the requirements of customers in secure and high-quality liqueur and vodka production.
Today, JSC "Tatspirtprom" unites 8 spirit plants and 5 liqueur and vodka plants of the Republic of Tatarstan along with the winery in Kazan. The developed network of the wholesale warehouses of JSC "Tatspirtprom" covers the whole territory of the republic, while the chain of the retail outlets "Arysh Maye" offers the customers a wide range of the issued production. Due to joining together the spirit line and the liqueur and vodka line of production alongside the wholesale and retail trade networks into one whole, JSC "Tatspirtprom" managed to get significant competitive advantages and occupy the leading position among other vodka producers.
The total production capacity of the spirit plants amounts to 6,3 mln decalitres of spirit per year, while the total production capacity of the liqueur and vodka plants amounts to 7,6 mln decalitres of alcoholic beverages per year. The spirit and liqueur and vodka production is performed on the first-class imported equipment according to the technology meeting the requirements of the world quality standards ISO 9000 9001:2001 with the use of the domestic natural raw material. At the present moment the company is carrying out the activities in quality system certification for conformation to the International Standard IFS.

According to the volume of the production manufactured within ten months in 2008, JSC "Tatspirtprom" occupies the 2nd place in the rating of the leading spirit producers in the Russian Federation and the 4th place in the rating of the leading vodka and liqueur and vodka production manufacturers in the Russian Federation (according to the data of the National Alcoholic Association).

The enterprises of the company "Tatspirtprom" manufacture a wide assortment of the alcoholic production, i.e. vodkas, special vodkas, liqueurs, sweets and half sweet extracts, fruit liqueurs, dessert liqueurs, wines, aperitifs, bitters, balsams, cognacs and cognac beverages, champagne. Total, there are about 110 brand names. The latest specialties of the past years are presented by vodkas AKDOV Original and AKDOV Ultimate in the "Premium" segment, TUNDRA (on the basis of Alfa spirit), «Russian value PLATINUM» (on the basis of Alfa spirit) and «Sabantuy» in the low – premium segment. The medium price segment is presented by the range of vodkas "Original Russian recipe " ("Khlebnaya lux", “Kedrovaya lux”, “Solodovaya lux”, “Mozhzhevelovaya lux”) and the range of vodkas “Your choice” (lemon, muscat, ginger), as well as the collection of bitters “Doctor Pertseff” (“Doctor Pertseff Lemon”, “Doctor Pertseff Spicy”), balsam “Recipe of Wiseman”, range of dessert drinks “Traditional recipe” (“Kalinka”, “Smorodina”, “Cheremukha”) and table wines (“Caberne”, “Muscat”, “Merlo”). The novelty for 2009 will be the collection of sparkling wines LINDELE (dry, half-dry, half-sweet).

Every year the products of JSC “Tatspirtprom” are distinguished by awards and prizes of prestigious international exhibitions and contests. High quality of the company’s production is annually acknowledged by demanding jury of various degustation contests, such as “Prodexpo” and “Beverages Industry” (Russia), as well as “Monde Selection” (Belgium), DLG and ISW (Germany). Total, according to the results of participation in the exhibition events within the period from 1998 to October, 2008 the company “Tatspirtprom” won 497 awards, including six National Premiums due to the production’s quality, fourteen Gran-Prix, nine stars “Prodexpo”, 190 golden, 146 silver and 132 bronze medals.

Today, the position of Director General of JSC "Tatspirtprom" is occupied by Rashit Rakhipovich Shaikhutdinov, the representative of the modern generation of leaders, whose biography is closely connected with the production activity. He has developed an individual business strategy which helps him not to stop at the achieved aims but to continue to carry out new projects on the republican level.


Under the careful leadership of Rashit Shaikhoutdinov the company "Tatspirtprom" was one of the first in Russia to start controlling the trace components in spirit and vodka through the chromatographic method (later this method became solely obligatory). Besides, the interlaboratory comparative tests over the production are performed in the Central Laboratory which allows to judge the work level of a single laboratory and take measures to clear up the troubles. It is also important to mention that from 2002 the inner quality standards which refer to the whole manufactured production range have been functioning at all the enterprises of JSC "Tatspirtprom". Moreover, the requirements to the physical-chemical parameters of the production at the enterprises of JSC "Tatspirtprom" are twice tougher in comparison to the requirements of the Russian GOSTs being currently in force.
