Tatspirtprom is the best tax-payer in Russia.

A rewarding ceremony for the winners of the International prize "Russia’s leader in economical development" has been held recently in Moscow. It was organized by the International Development Fund "EuroAsia" under control of the Sate Duma of the Russian Federation and the political party "Edinaya Rossia" ("United Russia"). JSC "Tatspirtprom" is acknowledged as "The best Russia's tax-payer" following the results of the year 2006.

The victory in such a prestigious international business-forum could be defined as unexpected if not the long years of hard work aimed at achieving of high results. The more so as that the selection criteria of winners were really strict. First of all, they included high development speed of tax payments to budget and off-budget funds. Secondly, they were timely and full tax payment and timely tax return submission. It is worth while mentioning that these principles became an internal constitution of JSC "Tatspirtprom" long ago.

The policy of strict financial discipline in JSC "Tatspirtprom" started to develop in 1997 when various alcohol producing companies of Tatartstan were united into one corporation. The company’s professional governing body headed by Director General Shaikhutdinov Rashit allowed to centralize the payments in the Federal and Republican budgets, to establish an accurate control over expenses of the state funds and, consequently, to increase tax collection.

In March 2007 the company "Tatspirtprom" celebrated its 10th anniversary. Giving interview to the "Vostochniy express" ("East express") newspaper in connection with the anniversary Mr. Shaikhutdinov remembered that right at the beginning of the path a seemingly unreal task was set in front: "To get at least 1 billion roubles for the budget out of the alcohol industry". While at the end of 1997 1,2 billion roubles were transferred to the treasury fund of the Republic. Overall the company's payments increased 3,5 times for the period of its functioning. In 1999 over 2 billion roubles were transferred. In 2006 deductions were about 3,8 billion roubles. On the whole all-level budgets got 28,7 billion roubles for the last 10 years.

- "Your economical achievements by no means make a significant contribution to V.V. Putin`s Russian Federation Presidential Programme on doubling of GDP by 2010, while tax deductions undoubtedly constitute a considerable contribution into realization of Russia’s national projects, and provide the country’s stability" – declared Steering Committee Chairman Dmitriy Gryzlov.
Isn’t it indeed the highest work assessment given by the businessmen of Tatarstan?
