Aleksandrovsky spirit plant

Alexandrovsky spirit plant was built in 1911 by the tsar’s adviser, organic chemist of universal importance Alexander Butlerov. Today daily output of the plant is 2650 decalitres of “Extra” and “De luxe” alcohol. The distinguishing features of the enterprise are the stability of work, high profitability and technological culture. Aleksandrovsky distillery is one of the enterprises producing fodder yeast with annual output of 1,800 tons. Its fodder yeast with high content of protein is in well-deserved and therefore great demand that contributes to the profitability of the plant. The plant was the first among the enterprises of the association that mastered the scheme of return of thin stillage to the stage of preparation of water-grain mixing thus solving the problem of keeping the microbiological state of the production up to the mark. The preparation of water-grain mixing is done automatically. The apparatus-technological complex of heads concentration is introduced in the scheme of rectification thus solving the problem of their utilization. Computer control of the technological process is put into operation. Nowadays the research officers of Kazan State Technological University are carrying out scientific development in the field of intensification of yeast generation process. The aim of their work is to get sterile inoculum with high concentration of yeast cells of increased physiological activity for seeding of yeast tubes and in the end for the increase of alcohol yield, its quality improvement. The modernization of rectification plant has been carried out. The system of directional impurities removal by way of hydroselection has been put into operation. The undertaken measures has made it possible to produce “De luxe” and “Extra” alcohol, the analytical characteristics of which are better than those stipulated in GOST-51698-2000, and to begin production of “De luxe” and “Alpha” alcohol. During the first All-Russian degustation contest of alcohol made from food raw material that took place in Moscow in April 2002 rectified ethyl alcohol “De luxe” was awarded a silver medal, rectified ethyl alcohol “Extra” won a bronze medal and rectified ethyl alcohol of “Higher purification” was awarded a diploma. The plant produces alimentary liquefied carbonic acid of high quality. It finds a ready market among the enterprises producing aerated beverages. Aleksandrovsky distillery has a developed social infrastructure. There is a kindergarten and daily nursery for 70 kids attached to the plant. The distillery has 150 comfortable flats. The whole village is supplied with gas.
