Usadsky spirit plant

The history of the plant began in 1898. It was built by the merchant of the first guild, commercial counsellor Ivan Nikolayevich Zhuravlyov, who contributed greatly to the improvement of the village Usady of Kazan province as well. The plant won the recognition rather fast and it became the supplier of alcohol to famous trading houses. How much managerial talent of the owners and work of the employees it required so that the History testified it in the short phrase from the Certificate of Kazan Excise at the beginning of the last century “…The plant is in working order and the fir has good reputation as regards its reliability”.

Much has changed since than but the wish of every collaborator from a worker to a manager to be the best at his post remains unchanged. And it creates the basis for the further development and prosperity of the spirit plant.

In the time of revolution the plant was stopped and when it began to work in the 20-ies it became a mediocre spirit enterprise among the hundreds of the similar plants in the USSR with manufacturing condition typical of these times – difficult labour of the workers and specialists, low wage, lack of sufficient financing for rearrangement of the manufacture, great fluctuation of personnel.

1985 is the year of the beginning of antialcoholic campaign in the USSR. The plant was on the verge of closing but it stood its ground and it began to be rearranged actively.

In 1996 the plant became an affiliate of GUP “PO Tatspirtprom”. The state backing of plans of the plant total rearrangement was created. Its main goal is the increase of product release, its improving and enlargement of assortment.
